Workshop equipment
In the workshop, you will find a variety of high-fire stoneware clays, as well as a wide selection of glazes, from glossy to matte, and from vibrant colors to more natural shades. Additionally, various underglazes and engobes are available. Glazes are typically fired at cone 5–6 temperatures.
The workshop is equipped for hand-building ceramics. There is no electric pottery wheel available, but all necessary hand tools are at your disposal, as well as a slab roller and large, comfortable work surfaces.
We periodically expand our offerings with seasonal materials and materials for special techniques (e.g., lustres or colored clays for nerikomi).
If this is your first visit, please contact us – we will be happy to show you around the workshop, introduce you to the available materials and tools, and help with any questions you may have before your first session.
Prices
Prices consist of two parts: an hourly membership fee which covers workshop and equipment use, and a fee for materials used and firings, calculated based on the weight of the wet clay consumed. The cost of materials and firings is charged based on actual consumption each time.
